THE USE OF AUX INS CAN HELP TO CREATE SEPARATE HEADPHONE MIXES  BY USING BUS TRACKS IN AUDTION THAT ARE ROUTED TO ADAT CHANNELS OUT. THEN MIX THESE IN IF REQUIRED WITH A MAIN MIX.

1 THIS 1ST CHANNEL IS THE PRE-RECORDED VOX TRACK IN MONO. FROM IT, SEND A SIGNAL FROM S1 TO A BUS TRACK. NAME IT "LEX IN".
A SIGNAL SHOULD BE DETECTED ON THE INPUT LEVEL METER OF THE MX300.
2  "LEX IN" OUTPUT IS THEN ROUTED IN THE SOFTWARE,  TO PORT 5M.
ON PATCH BAY 1, PATCH 5 OUT TO THE LH INPUT OF THE LEXICON MX300

3 THE OUTPUTS L&R  ARE PATCHED TO THE REQUIRED INPUT TRACKS (IN THIS CASE ADAT 7&8). THIS COULD BE TRIED SEVERAL TIMES USING DIFFERENT EFFECT SETTINGS ON SEPARATE TRACKS, THEREBY LEAVING A CHOICE OF SOUNDS TO USE IN A MIX.
4 TO START THIS PROCESS THE REQUIRED TRACK SHOULD BE ARMED TO RECORD, THEN PRESS RECORD ON THE TASCAM FW1884.
BY RAISING THE FADERS YOU SHOULD HEAR BOTH THE DIRECT AND PROCESSED TRACKS AS REQUIRED.
THE FINAL OUTCOME OF THIS EXERCISE IS TO HAVE THE ORIGINAL VOCAL TRACK ON TRACK 1.
THERE WILL ALSO BE THE PROCESSED SIGNAL IN STEREO ON TRACK 2, AND ALSO FURTHER STEREO PROCESSED TRACKS ON 3, 4, AND TRACK 5.
FROM THESE A CHOICE CAN BE MADE FOR DIFFERENT MIXES.
